Maridan Labradors is a family-owned kennel located in South Texas. We are dedicated to breeding quality AKC registered Labrador Retrievers with excellent bloodlines. Our breeding program focuses on producing "English" type chocolate, black and yellow Labrador retrievers that excel in type, genetic soundness, temperament and a strong drive to retrieve. We strive for our labs to have nice broad heads, otter tails, stocky build, good conformation and a desire to hunt. Please refer to our "Upcoming Litters" page. We occasionally have obedience-trained started dogs available.

All of our breeding dogs are cleared of any hereditary joint and eye abnormalities through the Orthopedic Foundation of America (OFA) and a Board Certified Veterinary Ophthalmologist (CERF). We provide a written guarantee on our puppies' hips and eyes.

We have our girls participate in Hunt Tests as we enjoy watching our labs do what they were bred for, retrieve! On one occasion, as I approached the line, the hunt test judge mumbled, " oh, we have a show dog here." After our girl finished retrieving her ducks the judge went on to say "that's a show dog with field ability!" Along with our pups making excellent members of the family, they also make fine hunting partners.
